Artemis recognizes that true caregivers are those with an innate desire to care for others. They make sacrifices for themselves in order to fulfill this desire to care, which can create day-to-day challenges, such as:

The factors above are among the many reasons we’re experiencing “The DSP crisis” – which has resulted in a shortage of caregivers, as well as inconsistent and disrupted services to individuals. It is a national problem.

Direct Support Professional
Human Resource Generalist
The HR Generalist supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring compliance with employment laws, fostering a positive workplace culture, and delivering efficient HR services. This role involves recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy implementation.
Internship Program
The Internship program will allow current undergraduate students to immerse themselves in the daily operations of Artemis Supports. They will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of the field of direct support care for those with an Intellectual Disability and/or Autism and how the regulations drive our service delivery. The Intern will gain experience in the field by shadowing others and by providing 1:1 support independently. The Intern will also be assigned a project based on their interest and our needs. The CEO will work with each Intern prior to beginning to determine what would be the best fit given their specific skill set and career goals.
